A Long Weekend Ahead in D.C.?

And where are we as the Senate nears the Christmas holiday break?

The Senate leadership is huddling to figure out where the 60th vote to break a filibuster will come from.

They're setting up cots in the Senate chambers for a long debate.

And a big old blizzard is headed for Washington, D.C.

Sounds like the setting for a novel, really.  But it's our government, making big decisions, at the last minute.  We'll see.
